Lifetime warranty

At Six Carats, we take immense pride in the superior quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery, and we are confident that you'll cherish it as much as we do. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted to perfection and undergoes rigorous quality inspections before reaching your hands. To demonstrate our commitment to excellence, we are delighted to offer a Lifetime Warranty on diamond authenticity and a Lifetime Warranty against any manufacturing defects. We stand behind our products and are dedicated to repairing and maintaining your jewellery throughout its lifetime.

In the unlikely event that you have a defect with your jewellery you should initially send us an email at sales@six-carats.com and we will provide you with instructions on how to return your item to us for inspection. Upon a thorough examination by our jewellery specialists, if your piece is deemed faulty, we will provide a complimentary repair or replacement as necessary. Should the issue not stem from a manufacturing defect, we will communicate with you, offering a quote for repairable items before proceeding.

 

It's important to note that when purchasing diamond or gemstone jewellery, stones may possess inclusions, colour irregularities, size variations, and other distinctive characteristics. Such characteristics are not considered defects.

 

Please be aware that due to the handcrafted nature of our fine jewellery, minor inconsistencies and irregularities may exist from one item to another. Craftsmanship variations are not deemed defects.

 

Normal day-to-day activities and traumas may subject jewellery to wear. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or stone loss. If you notice a loose stone, we recommend contacting us or a local jeweller to arrange inspection.

 

Our warranty excludes theft or loss, so we strongly advise obtaining an appropriate insurance plan.

 

Restrictions of the Manufacturer’s Warranty

 

  • The warranty applies only to customers who have directly purchased from Six Carats and are named on the proof of purchase. It is not transferrable.

  • Manufacturing defects do not encompass general wear and tear, scratching, stretched chains/rings, lost jewellery, or damage due to improper cleaning or storage.

  • Alterations or repairs by another jeweller or workshop will void the warranty automatically.

  • Following any traumatic event, it is advisable to arrange an inspection promptly, as the necessary repair may not be covered by the warranty.

  • Defects occurring during your jewellery maintenance are not covered. Discoloration from certain chemicals, bent prongs, and stone loss due to loosened prongs are day-to-day issues. Familiarize yourself with proper jewellery care or contact us at sales@six-carats.com for advice.
