At Six Carats, our goal is your satisfaction. Should your purchase not meet your expectations for any reason, take advantage of our 14-day return policy. Prior to returning your jewellery, please ensure it meets the specified criteria. Bespoke commissions, personalised or engraved items are excluded from our returns policy unless otherwise stated. Contact us if you are unsure about this, as exceptions can be made at our discretion.
For hygiene reasons, earrings (and other pierced jewellery) cannot be returned.
Refund Criteria:

All returns must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date

Returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached

All Six-Carats jewellery is supplied with a security tag and returns are not accepted unless this tag is still attached to the item

For hygiene reasons, earrings (and other pierced jewellery) cannot be returned.

Returns or Exchanges must be accompanied by the paperwork it came with, including any original IGI certificate, gemstone grading report and valuation.

Returned jewellery must not be missing any of its original diamonds or gemstones

If you have lost your IGI certificate, this can be replaced, however, you must inform us before making a return. The process to replace a certificate is lengthy and expensive, therefore we reserve the right to deduct a £150 fee per certificate to cover the costs if your jewellery is returned.

In the event that items are found to be faulty, damaged or defective before you receiving your item, (and through no fault of your own), or have been damaged in transit, you can choose to have the item repaired, replaced or fully refunded.

Please note that we do not accept liability for Returned Goods until we receive them. We recommend you return them using an insured service via a reputable delivery company such as Royal Mail, DHL or Fedex.

Processing your Return or Exchange
To return an item, please email customer service at sales@six-carats.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number. You must always do this before returning an item.
After receiving your RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging with the return form provided, all certificates and valuations, then mail your item using a fully insured and reputable delivery service. The return address varies depending on the jewellery type and will be detailed in your return confirmation.

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly suggest you use a fully insured, reputable and tracked delivery service. Any loss of an item during the return delivery is the responsibility of the customer.

You should avoid writing anything on the package or within the address that alludes to the value of the package contents, including ‘jewellers’ or ‘diamonds’.

Six Carats reserves the right to reject a return if the above steps are not carefully followed, and is therefore not liable to repair, replace or refund the item.

Refunds
​
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least thirty (30) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
